  • Facial Expression Analysis (FEA) tool: FEA tool (center picture) allows for measuring human emotions through facial expressions and muscle movement. The computer-based FEA system mimics human coding skills impressively as it captures human emotions from simple facial gestures and muscle movements (see image 1b). It can be used to study the efficacy and impact of any digital content that is supposed to elicit emotional arousal.

  • Eye-tracking system: The eye-tracker provides deeper insight into visual attention, The Module allows for advanced analysis using tools such as heatmaps, gaze replays, and areas of interest (AOI) output metrics like time to first fixation & time spent. The eye-tracking heat map is shown in image 1a above and the saccade pathway is on the 1c.

  • Biosensors: With our Nexus 10 MKII system, we can measure human physiological responses to various different kinds of stimuli. Currently, we are using these biosensors to study fabric haptics and touch perception, gauging the performance efficacy of biomedical textiles and the comfort analysis of textile products.
